NEW SEASON...

​

The 2023/24 season is just round the corner and we are excited to see what this season holds.

 

Our mixed team were sadly relegated after battling hard in Div 1 last season. Despite this, there are lots of positives to take from last season and lots of emerging talent. We are looking forward to a enjoyable and competitive season. 

 

Our young, but fearless, Badgers team take on teams from Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and now Warwickshire and we are hoping for another awesome season. There were goals galore and some highly impressive play from players across the age range.

We also have a HUGE number of juniors this season which will make our junior tournaments all the more exciting. It is a great joy to see them learn and grow at this age. We are hoping to be able to take some teams to the regional tournaments again. Last season, they held their own against temas from huge clubs in the midlands and it was a great experience for all involved.

WE NEED YOU...

A small group of Hockey devotees run our Hockey Club giving

time and effort to provide Hockey for all ages and abilities.

Whilst we all take great pride and pleasure in the fruits of our

labours, it's true to say that many hands makes light  work.

​

We have a number of opportunities for you to join our merry band 

of volunteers. If you are the type of person who wants to give back

to our club which has benefited so many and contributed so

much to Welford and surrounding areas please do get in touch via

our club email address...  we are looking for help in a number of

areas including: coaching, umpiring, and organising our Badgers 

and Junior section.
